UVA-Wise Installs Revenue-Generating Scorers Table
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]WISE, VA – The University of Virgina’s College at Wise (UVA-Wise) recently added a high resolution, full-color, 20-ft scorers table to their brand new convocation center that will seat 3,000 for athletic events and 4,000 for concerts. Wise allocated some of the funds from the convocation center project for this revenue-generating LED scorers table.
The department felt the additional revenue they could create with the Nevco table would add to their budget, and the product has already delivered new revenue. During an open house to show off the new convocation center to local businesses, four companies purchased advertising advertising packages for the table on the spot.
In selecting their Nevco scorers table, the athletic department also identified recruiting benefits for the department and other benefits for the students of UVA-Wise. The school is also hopeful the tables will keep the student body up to date on future game dates and other events at the University. The department also expects that the tables will increase the university’s appeal to potential recruits. UVA-Wise also purchased the Stat CrewTM integration package to flash live game stats as part of their in-game-content.
UVA Wise is the first school in the area to make the jump to an LED scorers table.
LED scorers tables have greatly simplified the management of available inventory and virtually eliminated any ongoing operating expenses involved with sponsor inventory management. Increased available advertising is the most significant benefit resulting from LED technology. LED technology has opened up a tremendous potential increase in sponsorship revenue.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
