Martinsville High School partnering with Nevco to deliver exciting game-day experience with new video, scoring and audio solution
New LED Video Display at Siderewicz Field set to debut by new school year
EDWARDSVILLE, IL, May 23, 2023 – More than 258,000 pixels and professional-grade sound will capture the attention this fall at Martinsville High School in Martinsville, IN.
A new full-color 10-mm LED Video Display measuring 13.05’H by 22.05’W is becoming part of the game-day atmosphere at Siderewicz Field after the school chose Nevco Sports, LLC to create an experience Artesian players, coaches and fans could look forward to.
Named after Bill Siderewicz, an Indiana Football Hall of Fame coach who led the Martinsville program for 29 years and was the eighth winningest coach in the state at the time of his retirement in 1999 (222 wins), the stadium’s captivating new display will unleash opportunities for Martinsville to craft game-day in its own vision. Lighting up the field will be views that capture the action up close, real-time stats and important information, showcase school sponsors and supporters and create a home field edge and advantage through the power of Nevco Creative Services, with interactive graphics and prompts that keeps Artesian fans engaged from team introductions to the final whistle.
“Nevco provides the latest technology, best service, and unsurpassed reliability in their product line. Because of this we utilize Nevco in our facilities including the John R. Wooden Gymnasium and Siderewicz Field,” stated Martinsville High School Athletic Director Kip Staggs.
Topping off the scoring solution will be a Stadium Pro™ 1000 Sound System with custom-imprinted front mesh scrim proudly displaying “Home of the Artesians” that delivers crystal clear sound throughout the stadium, and a Decorative Arch Truss featuring the school logo to further add school and community pride.
The video display will be featured beneath a Model 7630 LED Scoreboard with standout Amber digits and Electronic Team Names, allowing Martinsville to offer a welcoming experience by featuring the names of all teams who play at Siderewicz Field. The upgrades at Martinsville will be completed with a set of DGT-6-T14 Field Timers.
