Saratoga Youth Hockey Starts 2016 with New Nevco Equipment
GREENVILLE, IL, January 4, 2016– The Saratoga Springs Youth Hockey, home of the Blue Knights, start the New Year with new scoring equipment from Nevco.
The new Nevco model 4760 LED scoreboard stretches over 24’ wide and includes player numbers, penalty timers, and shots on goal. The Nevco scoreboard came complete with interchangeable Electronic Team Names which allow every team that plays in the arena the opportunity to see their own name in LED lights.
In addition to the new scoring solution, the arena added a sponsorship sign below the board, featuring Adirondack Trust Company and Adirondack Trust Foundation which made the upgraded scoreboard possible thanks to their donations.
The new Nevco 4760 scoreboard replaces an older Nevco scoreboard that was installed in 1993. The recreation league was founded in 1976 and has been providing organized hockey to boys and girls of all levels of ability in the Saratoga, NY region for over 30 years.
