Evangel Christian Academy Installs Virtue

SHREVEPORT, LA – Today, Evangel Christian Academy installed a new video scoreboard at the school’s Rodney Duron Field to match their impressive, storied history in football. The new scoreboard features a large, 11ft x 16ft full-color LED high definition video display that is capable of showing live video and instant replays. The scoring solution also has full virtual scoring capabilities to show such information as Ball On, Down, YTG, QTR, etc. The display can show paid advertisements, in-game animations, or other announcements and messages for the fans.

Boasting a successful football program that delivered 13 state championships and produced several NFL Alumni, Evangel continues to build on their winning ways by bringing advertising dollars into the program. Purchased with donor funds, this project was completed in only 7 weeks, in time for their first home game.

Evangel Christian Academy is a private, coeducational kindergarten to 12th grade Christian school located on two campuses in Shreveport, Louisiana. Rodney and Frances Duron, founded the school in 1980 as a kindergarten to eighth grade school in West Shreveport. The high school was added in 1989. Evangel has grown from 21 graduating seniors in1990 to over 100 seniors in 2010. The school currently has approximately 765 students. Their football program has won 13 State Championships. ')}
