Kearney Bearcats Choose Nevco for Newly Constructed Facilities
GREENVILLE, IL, September 2, 2015– The newly constructed Kearney High School, set to open in fall of 2016, in Kearney, NE will include Nevco equipment at their football field as well as their indoor arena.
In fall 2016, Bearcat football fans will be welcomed by a custom Nevco full color LED video display that is sure to get the Bearcat fans fired up and on their feet like never before. The display will feature everything from thrilling game action, to instant replays, of exciting plays, to vibrant active graphics, and informational messages from various sponsors.
The Nevco LED video board will be accompanied by a custom Nevco model 3680 scoreboard that includes interchangeable Intelligent Captions™ and Electronic Team Names making it simple to switch sport modes. From football to soccer to track and field– the multi-sport scoreboard and interchangeable captions allows for multiple teams to utilize the equipment easily, and allows many student-athletes to have their opportunity on the big screen. The top of the structure also includes Nevco’s full width scrim for Kearney High School’s future plans to install the custom Nevco Stadium Pro sound equipment.
In addition to the outdoor scoring solution upgrades, Kearney High School will also work with Nevco for scoreboards at their indoor arena, home to basketball, volleyball, and wrestling. The arena will be completed with two Nevco model 2781 scoreboards with interchangeable Intelligent Captions™ and Electronic Team Names. The interchangeable captions allow for sport modes to be switched effortlessly making the scoreboard accessible for everything from basketball games to wrestling meets. To further maximize their impact and scoring solution, the Kearney High School arena will also include two Nevco model 2700 scoreboards with electronic team names, a set of end of period lights, a set of Nevco’s new Shot Clocks, seven Locker Room Clocks, and a 10’ LED Scorer’s Table, perfect for personalized player introductions and endless sponsorship and ad-revenue generating opportunities.
