Thornton Academy Leads the Way

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]SACO, ME – Thornton Academy revealed their newly installed Nevco football scoreboard today at their Dr. Paul S. Hill Jr. Stadium in Saco, ME. Driven by the desire to add advertising and messages during games, the Nevco scoreboard with message center will offer the flexibility to display multiple ads and messages with ease. This scoreboard will also add to their rich winning tradition and show the competition that they are a premier institution.

The installed scoreboard is a Nevco Model 7685 with Nevco’s exclusive Intelligent Caption™ feature, and is accompanied by a 2ft x12ft, 32mm amber message center. The state-of-the-art Intelligent Captions give Thornton Academy the flexibility to change scoring information automatically between football, track, soccer, lacrosse or baseball/softball. In addition, with the scoreboard’s Electronic Team Names, they can customize the team name for each team playing in the facility, thus avoiding the static “VISITORS” that is commonly found elsewhere.

The message center sits above the scoring information and allows Thornton Academy to add crowd-energizing animations and informative messages to the game day experience. It also allows them to display dynamic advertisements giving them greater flexibility over static ad boards frequently used by similar institutions.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
