WAGNER COLLEGE ENHANCES GAME-DAY ATMOSPHERE WITH NEW NEVCO VIDEO DISPLAY AT SPIRO SPORTS CENTER
GREENVILLE, IL, November 17, 2017- Wagner College in Staten Island, NY will deliver a brand new game-day atmosphere during their 2017-2018 indoor sports season with the addition of their new Nevco Video Display & Scoring Solution.
The Seahawks’ Men’s & Women’s Basketball teams will now be accompanied by a 15’ wide Nevco 6mm LED Video Display, prominently mounted at their home court, inside the Spiro Sports Center. The full color, LED display will enhance the indoor viewing experience for players and fans by displaying live game action, crowd pleasing fan prompts, and endless sponsorship spots, delivering a game-changing way to watch Seahawk sporting events.
“We are proud to partner with Wagner athletics to bring new life to the Spiro Sports Center through video. The LED components will greatly increase their fan engagement at home games for years to come,” says Large Venue Sales Director, Eric Light.
Stretching the sidelines at center court are 30’ of state-of-the-art Nevco LED Scorers Tables, which house virtually limitless LED digital inventory space. The tables, along with the main display, are equipped with Nevco’s exclusive Display DirectorTM Software to manage game-day operations.
To further enhance their game-day experience, Wagner also collaborated with HYPE Creative Services, a division of Nevco, to create a custom Seahawk basketball shuffle game to engage fans during breaks from play.
