NORTHWEST FLORIDA STATE’S BASKETBALL ARENA AMPLIFIES THE GAME-DAY EXPERIENCE WITH NEVCO VIDEO DISPLAY

GREENVILLE, IL, July 11, 2018 – The anticipation builds as Raiders fans at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida, eagerly await the 2018-2019 basketball season, where they will experience a game-day atmosphere that will change the game forever, with the addition of their new Nevco Video Display.

Mounted on the north wall of the Raider Arena, the 6mm, full color Nevco Video Display stretches approximately 11’ high and 29’ wide. Projecting over 748,000 captivating pixels, NWF State’s new video display will bring an elevated viewing experience to every home game this winter. The scoring solution is capable of any combination of instant replays, crowd pleasing fan prompts, revenue-generating sponsorship messages, and live in-game action by utilizing Nevco’s exclusive Display Director™ Software.

“Northwest Florida State’s new video board is going to bring an added level of excitement to Raider athletics,” says Eric Light, Nevco Director of Sports Video Sales. “We are fortunate to be able to partner with such a great school and provide them with a scoring solution that will benefit the basketball teams and the University as a whole.”

Furthering enhancing the video board is a non-illuminated sign displaying NWF State’s school name, along with a decorative arched truss prominently sitting on top of the display with the team mascot spelled out in truss letters.

“Our new display will become an invaluable part of the crowd experience during home basketball games and other events hosted at the arena,” says Ramsey Ross, Athletic Director at NWF State. “We appreciate Nevco for taking our vision and creating the perfect scoring solution for our athletes, fans, and arena.”

Completing the scoring upgrades to the arena are a set of SSC-T9 Shot Clocks, which conveniently display both game time and shot clock time, and two model 2700 ancillary scoreboards with Electronic Team Names, which will allow the Raiders to customize the home and guest team names for each team that plays at the facility.

The video display was installed in late April of 2018, just in time to fire it up for the 2018 Northwest Florida State College Commencement Ceremonies on May 5th.  Check out the live install photo below and be sure to check out nevco.com to plan your next video display and scoring solution project.
