Nevco Unveils State-of-the-Art Video Display at Wagner College, Staten Island

Wagner College is ready to make some noise this season.
EDWARDSVILLE, IL, November 7, 2024– Nevco, a leading innovator in sports and entertainment display technology, is thrilled to announce the installation of a new, state-of-the-art video display system at Wagner College in Staten Island, New York. This exciting addition is set to elevate the game-day experience for fans and enhance the overall atmosphere at Hameline Field at Wagner College Stadium, which is home to the Seahawks’ DI FCS football team, and DI Women’s soccer, Men’s & Women’s track and field and Men’s & Women’s Lacrosse teams.
Their new Nevco Full Color 10mm LED Video Display represents a significant upgrade in visual technology for the Seahawks. Spanning an impressive 15.75’H x 31.5’W with 460,800 pixels, the display offers vibrant, clear imagery that will bring every moment of action to life. The Seahawks also invested in a custom strip scoreboard (32’W x 5’H) and Stadium Pro 1500 sound system. Whether it is a thrilling football, soccer, or lacrosse game, or an action-packed track meet, the new system ensures that every play, highlight, and instant replay is displayed with exceptional clarity.
“Partnering with Wagner College to install this state-of-the-art video display is a proud moment for Nevco,” said Josh Robbers, Regional Video Display Consultant for Nevco. “Our goal is to enhance the fan experience with cutting-edge technology, and we are excited to see how this new display will contribute to the excitement and energy of Wagner College’s athletic events.”
The installation of this new video display aligns with Wagner College’s commitment to providing an exceptional experience for its students, athletes, and fans. The upgraded system, which was generously donated by former Wagner offensive lineman, Mark Lebovitz, will not only improve the quality of visual content but also offer advanced features such as live video streaming, instant replays, and dynamic graphics in addition to a professional grade sound system. This investment underscores Wagner College’s dedication to staying at the forefront of collegiate athletics and fan engagement.
“Wagner College is so excited to have a brand new Nevco Video Display and sound system,” said Brendan Fahey, Wagner Athletic Director. “This installation will bring even more excitement to our game-day experience.”
The upgrade to Hameline Field at Wagner College Stadium signifies the ongoing partnership between Nevco and Wagner College. Nevco has provided equipment upgrades for Wagner’s basketball, field hockey, and softball facilities in the past.
The new video display and sound system made their debut at the Seahawks’ 2024 home events. Fans and attendees can look forward to an enhanced viewing experience that will amplify the excitement and highlight Wagner College’s athletic prowess in a whole new light.
