MCMURRY UNIVERSITY WAR HAWKS SELECT NEVCO SCOREBOARDS FOR WILFORD MOORE STADIUM UPGRADES

GREENVILLE, IL, August 16, 2016 – McMurry University, in Abilene, TX selected Nevco to upgrade and enhance their game-day experience at Wilford Moore Stadium with a new LED Video Display and Scoring Solution.

The main attraction of the new scoring solution is a Nevco LED Full Color 20mm Video Display with over 38,000 pixels stretching over 15’ wide. The video display will be capable of featuring live scoring and statistical information, exciting in game fan-prompts, and engaging messages from sponsors.

McMurry University will also be equipped with Nevco’s proprietary Display Director Software to facilitate game-day operations using a single, universal, touchscreen computer that will be easily operable for those running the display and audio.

In addition to the Nevco video display, War Hawk fans will also hear a difference on game day with Nevco’s Stadium Pro™ 1000 Sound System discreetly mounted above the video display. McMurry University further personalized their Nevco equipment by branding the customized scrim, attractively hiding the sound system, and adding decorative arch trusses to each side of the sound equipment.

Sitting below the video display, McMurry University added a custom, 28’W scoreboard with Electronic Team Names. Electronic Team Names allow you to personalize the home and guest names for every team that plays at the stadium.

McMurry University will also work with Nevco to add 30’ of new LED and Rear-Lit Scorers Tables to Kimbrell Arena, home of the War Hawk’s men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams.

The video display and scoring solution is set to install in late Fall 2016.
