Grand Prairie ISD Selects Nevco for Video Display and Scoring Solution Upgrade
GREENVILLE, IL, July 8, 2015– Grand Prairie Independent School District in Texas has selected Nevco to install a jaw-dropping video display and scoring solution at their Gopher-Warrior Bowl Football Stadium. The display will be used by all the schools making up the independent district.
The full color 20mm LED video display will stretch over 40’W and will mesmerize fans with over 179,000 pixels. The massive screen will fire up the crowd and give everyone an impactful game day experience with live game play and engaging animations.
The video display will be accompanied with a Nevco custom scoreboard showcasing interchangeable team names and captions making it available for all sports played on the field. Fans will always be informed with the latest score information easily viewable from any seat in the house. Nevco consultants worked with a third party to incorporate a new sound system for the stadium so fans would not only see but also hear the live action of the game.
Grand Prairie chose to further customize their scoring solution by including rear lit truss letters that will illuminate their name brightly under the Friday night lights.
