Game On! Nevco Launches Spectacular New Addition at Moravian University
The Greyhounds are back with new gear.
EDWARDSVILLE, IL, November 18, 2024- Football and Saturday afternoon excitement are back in full swing, and we couldn’t be happier! Nevco is excited to show off the completion of a cutting-edge installation at Moravian University in Bethlehem, PA. The new display system will not only elevate the excitement of athletic events but also enhance the overall experience for students, parents, and the community.
Rocco Calvo Field is now equipped with a Full Color 10mm LED Video Display (15.75’H x 22.05’W) topped off with a Decorative Arched Truss displaying the school logo. Accompanying the display is a set of Delay of Game Timers in Navy Blue. These new additions will aid in creating the perfect game-day atmosphere for Greyhounds football.
Further enhancing their capabilities, Moravian invested in a FinishLynx Silver Track Timing Package and ResulTV software. This integration allows the Greyhounds to seamlessly run fully automated timed events, ensuring accurate and sanctionable meet results. With the display synchronized to the timing package, live results can now be projected on-screen throughout each meet, elevating the fan experience.
“We are incredibly grateful to Nevco for this amazing new display and equipment,” said Mary Beth Spirk, Director of Athletics/Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Moravian University. “The Rocco Calvo Field was renovated in 2018 by adding turf. Installing this scoring system not only enhances the overall appearance of our facility but will serve as a source of pride for our students and the entire community. We look forward to many memorable game days ahead!”
In addition to the video display’s 322,500 pixels of interactive graphics, it also includes features designed for ease of use, ensuring that staff and student volunteers can operate it smoothly during events. The installation also aligns with the University’s dedication to providing a top-notch athletic experience for its students and fans.
