Terrell Tigers Enhance Game Day Experience for Fans with Nevco Equipment

GREENVILLE, IL, September 5, 2014– Terrell ISD in Terrell, Texas worked with Nevco to complete the enhanced game day experience for Tiger Fans with the addition of a custom Nevco LED Video Display and scoring solution.

“The new scoreboard has completely changed the game-time experience for both our fans and our students,” Deputy Superintendent Jason Gomez explained. “The fans get the enjoyment of watching instant replays and live action, and the students in our Audio/Visual program get a hands-on learning experience in producing a live football broadcast on the Nevco LED Video Display.”

The main component of the upgraded solution includes a 20mm full color LED Nevco Video Display complete with over 73,000 pixels and the ability to showcase live game action, instant replays of exciting plays, vivid animated graphics, and allows for endless sponsorship opportunities.

“I remember how our students got excited the first time they saw their photo displayed on the Nevco LED Video Display during their pre-game warm-up,” Gomez said. “The scoreboard reinforces our slogan ‘Where Students Come First.’ We are able to highlight both our students and our excellent programs through videos that play on the scoreboard before and during the game. It is an excellent opportunity to reach a captive audience and share the great things happening in Terrell ISD.”

The Nevco Video Display is accompanied by a Nevco model 3617 scoreboard with Electronic Team Names. Terrell chose to further customize their scoring solution by including arched rear lit truss letters that will illuminate their name brightly under the Friday night lights. Terrell also added two Nevco LED Delay of Game Timers that will allow the quarterback to easily see time left to snap another play.
