GREENVILLE, IL, November 20, 2019 – Noble High School recently held the grand opening for The Den, the school’s new Performing Arts Center and Gymnasium located on the Noble High School campus in Noble, OK. The Bear’s new facility will feature a brand new Nevco Video Display and Scoring Solution as the center-piece, hanging above half-court inside the gymnasium.

The Den brings a 1,000 seat Auditorium and a 1,700 seat competition gymnasium, with a shared lobby, to the Noble High School campus. The facility will play host to the Bears’ basketball, volleyball, and wrestling teams.

Hoisted overhead of the basketball court inside The Den, is a Nevco center-hung, four-sided, full color 6mm LED Video Display with each side of the video display reaching almost 6’H and spanning nearly 9’W.  Below the video display is a full color, 10mm LED Video Ring which stands over 2’H and stretches more than 9’ in diameter. The four-sided video display and the video ring display an astonishing 549,120 eye-catching pixels. Separating each side of the video displays are custom imprinted wedge panels which are emblazoned with the school’s name and the mascot name. Below the video ring is a custom imprinted bottom which prominently displays the Bear’s logo.

“We are thrilled to partner with Nevco to help make our vision for The Den a reality,” said Noble High School Superintendent, Frank Solomon. “The new video board serves as the focal point of the gym and will attract a substantial amount of attention from everyone that enters the building. We’re eager to see the video board bring a new level of excitement from our students and the entire surrounding community.”

The video display is operated through the use of Nevco’s proprietary Display Director™ Software, which enables game-day operations to be easily managed through one universal system. Game-days will be electrified with the powerful software which can be utilized to showcase live in-game action, instant replays, animated graphics, sponsorship messages, and more!

“We are thankful to have the opportunity to work with Noble High School on this project. This new facility is really something of a marvel,” said Nevco National Sales Executive, Wes Wood.  “The video display and video ring offers Noble a great deal of flexibility in promoting their partners and will help make this one of the most exciting game-day atmospheres in a high school gym!”

The Bears augmented their scoring solution with a Model 2781 Scoreboard featuring Intelligent Captions™, which allow them to switch between basketball, volleyball, and wrestling scoring modes and customize the home and guest team names for every team that plays at the facility. Noble High School rounded out their complete gymnasium scoring solution with a Model 2702 Scoreboard, End of Period Lights for the backboards, Locker Room Clocks, and a set of SSC-T5 Shot Clock and Game Clocks.
