GREENVILLE, IL, August 10, 2016 – Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska, has selected Nevco Inc. to upgrade two facilities’ scoring equipment in 2016.

The Warriors will work with Nevco to replace their scoreboard and arena scoring accessories at the Wikert Event Center, home of Warriors’ men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams, with a massive, new 6mm LED Video Display. The full color, eye-catching video display will measure nearly 10’ tall by 23’ wide and will have the ability to show everything from live game action, exciting in-game fan prompts, sponsorship messages, and up to the second stats and virtual scoring in over 576,000 mesmerizing pixels. The display will have content zoning capabilities which will allow for full screen game action or a combination of multiple zones to show live feed, statistic information, animations, and sponsorship messages simultaneously.  Midland completed the arena’s scoring solution upgrades with more of Nevco’s integrated product line: Custom, Model 2700 scoreboards with Electronic Team Names; Nevco’s new slimmer, light-weight Shot Clocks; End-of-Period lights, and Locker Room Clocks.

In addition to the upgrades that will be made at the Wikert Event Center, Midland University will also work with Nevco on a new scoring solution at Heedum Field, home to the Warriors Football, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, and Lacrosse teams. The upgrades include a Nevco Model 3685 interchangeable Intelligent Caption™ scoreboard complete with Electronic Team Names. The interchangeable captions allow for sport modes to be switched effortlessly making the game score and stats easily seen and understood by all teams utilizing the field.

Resting below the scoreboard, Warrior fans will notice a full color Nevco 16mm LED Message Center that will pump up the crowd with exciting animations and sponsorship messages. Fans will also hear the Nevco difference with the addition of the Stadium Pro™ 1000 Sound System above the scoreboard. The Stadium Pro™ 1000 will be discreetly mounted above the scoreboard with a custom imprinted scrim showing the field’s name.
