Lufkin Panthers Welcome New Nevco Equipment for Friday Night Football

GREENVILLE, IL, August 25, 2015– Lufkin High School Panther fans and student-athletes in Lufkin, TX will be greeted by a brand new Nevco Video Display and custom scoreboard this season at Abe Martin Stadium.

The multi-sport display features a full color, LED 20mm Video Display that stands over 17’ tall, over 34’ wide, and will light up the field with over 135,000 pixels. It will showcase everything from exciting live in game action, fan enticing animated graphics and informative sponsorship messages.

“We’re really excited about this upgrade to our field. Our games and half-time band productions and dance performances will never be the same. Even more students will have their opportunity on the big screen with parents and fans in the stands watching” says Todd Quick, Athletic Director for Lufkin High School.

The display is accompanied by a custom Nevco 36′ scoreboard with interchangeable Intelligent Captions™ and Electronic Team Names making it a multi-sport and multi-use structure. In addition to the sponsorship opportunities on the video display, four sponsors have their own spotlight on the structure with a lit outdoor sign beneath the scoreboard.

The new scoring solution was installed for their first 2015 “Friday Night Football” home game at Abe Martin Stadium scheduled for Sept. 25 against Nacogdoches High School.
