LOUISVILLE SLUGGER COMPLEX SELECTS NEVCO SCOREBOARDS FOR 10 FIELD FACILITY

GREENVILLE, IL, July 1, 2016 – Newly constructed and the country’s premier youth sports facility, the Louisville Slugger Complex in Peoria, Illinois, selects Nevco Scoreboards Inc., to outfit the Complex’s ball diamonds with scoring equipment and partner with the Complex’s mission to bring to life the iconic name of Louisville Slugger and create a Major League style game-day experience for all players, fans, visitors, and sponsors.

The Louisville Slugger Complex, recently selected Nevco for their scoreboards and scoring equipment for all ten (10) of the Complex’s diamonds used for youth league sports. Nine of the ten diamonds will be equipped with custom Nevco Model 1615 scoreboards complete with decorative arch trusses and logos giving the Complex’s fields a unified and professional look.

The impressive team effort from Nevco earned the business and trust with Louisville Slugger and led the Complex to work further with Nevco on the Championship Field video scoreboard project.

The scoring equipment will contribute to the exciting game-day experience for youth athletes, parents, fans, and sponsors at our games and tournaments,” says Dan Cunningham, Executive Director for the Louisville Sports Complex.

The focal point of the Complex will be the impressive Championship Field, where it’ll be equipped with a Nevco Full Color LED Video Display sitting above a custom Nevco Model 1603 Scoreboard. The Video Display will be operated by Nevco’s proprietary Display Director™ Software and is capable of showcasing everything from on-the-spot reruns of thrilling plays, vibrant animated graphics, and revenue generating messages from sponsors. The Model 1603 Scoreboard will have interchangeable Electronic Team Names, which displays each team’s name playing on the field and makes it ideal for hosting tournaments.

The nine Complex fields have already installed the Model 1603 Scoreboards and the LED Video Display is set to install in the coming weeks.
