LOUISVILLE SLUGGER SPORTS COMPLEX HITS A HOMERUN WITH NEVCO EQUIPMENT TO ENHANCE BALLGAME EXPERIENCE

GREENVILLE, IL, September 30, 2016– The new Louisville Slugger Sports Complex in Peoria, Illinois stepped up to the plate and hit a home run with the addition of a new Nevco LED Video Display and multiple Scoreboards to their Complex diamonds.

The Nevco 20mm LED Full Color Video Display is located at Championship Field and has the capability with Nevco’s proprietary Display Director Software, to showcase live game action, instant replays, messages from sponsors, and vivid in-game fan prompts in over 46,000 pixels.

“We’re really excited about this visual experience enhancement to The Louisville Slugger Sports Complex. Our athletes, fans, sponsors, visitors and local community will benefit from the new Nevco equipment,” says Dan Cunningham, Executive Director at Louisville Slugger Sports Complex.

The vibrant LED video display is accompanied by a Nevco Model 1603 inning by inning scoreboard complete with interchangeable Electronic Team Names, allowing for the ‘home’ and ‘guest’ fields to be customized team names. This was a crucial element to the Complex’s aesthetics as they host numerous baseball and softball tournaments during the season.  Championship Field topped off their new scoring solution with a decorative arch truss and the prominent Louisville Slugger logo in the center.

“We are pleased to provide the new Nevco LED Video Display and Scoring Solution to Championship Field,” said Shelly Childerson-Fuhrhop, local Nevco Sales Consultant. “We have had a strong relationship with the Complex through the years working on this together and they are happy with our service as well as our customer service efforts throughout the duration of this project.”

Nevco’s comprehensive and integrated product line, coupled with their consultative approach, lead the Complex to outfit their additional 9 diamonds with Nevco Model 1615 Scoreboards with the same arch truss as Championship Field’s scoring solution to give the entire Complex a unified look.

The new Nevco equipment was installed in late summer 2016.
