CHABOT GLADIATORS ENHANCE THEIR ARMOR WITH NEW NEVCO EQUIPMENT

GREENVILLE, IL, October 3, 2016 –Fans at Chabot College in Hayward, California will cheer on the Gladiators at Gladiator Stadium alongside a new Nevco LED Video Display in September 2016.

“We are extremely excited for this terrific enhancement to Gladiator Stadium,” said Chabot College Athletic Director, Jeff Drouin. “The Nevco Video Display will definitely add another element to our home games, and I’m sure our fans will enjoy the game-day experience like never before.”

The new Nevco 20mm LED Full Color Video Display is over 15’ wide and has the capability to show live scoring and statistical information, fan-engaging graphics and animations, and sponsorship messages. The Gladiators will also be equipped with Nevco’s proprietary Display Director™ Software, a user-friendly, single touchscreen interface that enables game-day operators to run the video display easily and efficiently.

The video display rests between two custom scoreboard cabinets that will have interchangeable Electronic Team Names that allow the Gladiators to personalize the home and guest team name for every game played at the stadium. Sitting above the display, the Gladiators continued to further customize their scoring solution by adding an arch decorative truss with CHABOT in decorative letters.

“We are pleased to be working with Chabot College on this project at Gladiator Stadium. We started conversations on this project in 2011 and worked together on the design and the location of the new equipment. I think the final product speaks for itself and will bring a whole new level of excitement to fans, players, sponsors and the entire community,” said local Nevco Sales Consultant, Steve Warner.

The new Nevco equipment was installed in mid-September 2016.
